A clear majority of teachers in both primary and secondary schools are women. That creates an intriguing dynamic for teaching and learning in single sex boys schools or schools with a strong masculine culture. In this session the presenter will explore some of the challenges that women may face when working in all boys schools and pose some pathways for teachers to meet the challenges. The session will invite responses from participants about their experiences working in all boys schools and those with strong masculine cultures. The session is open to all teachers.
