Moving into leadership roles requires ongoing professional development to understand the demands on leaders; the knowledge, skills and dispositions. There are many leadership models that can guide new leaders in their professional development, but they cover the same five broad areas; setting a vision for the school, managing people and resources, being an education leader, building relationships within the school and education community, and developing yourself as a whole person with integrity. This session will explore these five dimensions. If you are a new leader in a school or aspire to leadership roles, this is an essential program for you.
