One of the challenges of moving into leadership roles in a school is the change in the type of conversations that you will be involved in. Whether it is with parents, students or colleagues, these conversations will be more complex and challenging. An essential skill for new leaders is to engage in effective listening. In this session the presenter will explore what effective listening means when you are a leader in a school. The session will draw on the work of Bob Garmston.
