PD Webinar - Strategies to support struggling readers in the secondary classroom

As a graduate teacher in a secondary classroom it can be challenging to respond to students who are struggling with reading. However, whatever subject you teach, you have a responsibility to support students with their reading development. You will need a solid foundation and understanding of reading strategies. This is a ‘crash course’ in strategies that you can use to ensure the students who have challenges with reading are able to develop their ability in a supportive and practical way. You will leave this session with practical literacy ideas that you can use the next day.
