The focus of this session is understanding and learning from the experience of women in middle leadership roles in schools. The teaching profession is dominated by women, but this is not reflected in leadership roles e.g. only 40% of secondary school principals are female. In this session the presenter will explore the research on women in middle leadership roles and report the findings which suggest how women can access and enact leadership roles in schools. All are welcome to attend the session.
