Building relationships and team work are essential aspects to the work undertaken by Education Support Staff. It can be challenging to navigate the different priorities from the students, their families the student's teachers and the school management. It is important to be able to set appropriate boundaries for the work students complete as well as expectations for the work being asked of ES staff and the interactions with parents and caregivers. This session will explore approaches to setting clear boundaries while still maintaining a collaborative team based approach.
