PD Webinar - Supporting sensory heightened students

The classroom is a dynamic environment that can have a wide range of noise levels. Education Support staff  are often required to work within these environments without having direct control over what is happening. Creating a calm environment can help ensure that students are able to interact positively and stay focussed on the learning task at hand. In this session the presenter will explore how to use students' strengths to drive learning and engagement and how to work while creating a calm and supportive learning environment. Creating a calm environment enables teachers and Support staff to work together to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all children.
