Trauma can manifest in unexpected ways. Supporting students who have experienced trauma requires special attention to approach the situation appropriately. This session will focus on supporting teachers to understand the different types of trauma experienced by students and to learn new strategies that will help manage the behaviours that result. Learning Support Officers will also find the content helpful in their work with students.
