Schools provide the best education for students when teachers have a shared understanding of what high quality teaching and learning looks like in the classroom. This does not come about by accident. It is the role of senior leaders in schools to develop with teachers a common understanding of well-researched teaching strategies around goal setting, feedback, classroom practice and gathering good evidence of student learning (assessment). This session is designed for senior leaders seeking to lead a school focused on high quality instructional practice. It will be practical and focused on what you can do as a leader when working with teams or individual teachers to develop that shared understanding of high quality teaching practice.
