Students with English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) may experience challenges in their learning. Learning Support Officers who are equipped with resources and strategies to support EAL/D students can assist these students to overcome barriers to their learning. This session will explore successful activities and resources that have worked for Learning Support Officers working one to one or in small groups with EAL/D students in the middle years (upper primary and lower secondary).
