Victorian vaccine updates for education staff
From Wednesday, 25 August everyone aged 16 years and over is eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, through state vaccination clinics.
People aged 12-15 years old who have a medical condition, are a NDIS participant or who are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander are now eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine.
Victoria’s first drive-through vaccination clinic launched on Monday 9 August in Melton. Bookings are essential for drive through vaccination clinics either online or through the coronavirus hotline. Additional drive through clinics opening shortly include the Former Ford Factory in Broadmeadows, Sandown Racecourse in Springvale and Eagle Stadium in Werribee.
Victorian pharmacies have started immunising the COVID-19 vaccine.
