This course is for Reps who are new to the role or have not yet attended training. Develop your Rep skills and learn about your rights, your role and the structure of the union. You will work with IEU Organisers and Reps from around the state to formulate strategies for developing your sub-branch, building strength through recruitment, and being an empowered workplace advocate. 

Reps from Catholic schools are entitled to a day of paid union training leave each year, and Reps from independent schools should speak to their Organiser about the IEU covering replacement costs. 

Participation in the day is fundamental to your role as a Sub-branch Rep and attendance is strongly encouraged.
