Supporting students with sensory needs to create an inclusive and accommodating classroom environment requires some understanding about different sensory processing challenges and how to identify sensory needs in students. This course covers practical strategies, such as sensory breaks, sensory-friendly tools, and environmental adjustments, to help students regulate and engage in learning. By the end of the course, early career teachers will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to support sensory needs and foster student success.
