Collecting and analysing assessment data is essential to a teacher. This data is used to report on progress and to inform decisions for the preparation of learning content. Making sense of the data gathered will only work if it is recorded in an accessible and readable way. This session will explain and walkthrough how Excel spreadsheets can be created to record the data gathered in the classroom. This will highlight the underlying decisions which can be applied beyond excel to inform other school based practices.
