PD Webinar - Five teaching strategies to support struggling readers

Reading is a fundamental building block for all students whatever the subject or grade level. All teachers need to build their capability to support the development of students' reading skills. This session will include five practical strategies that you can use to build reading skills if you have students in your classroom who are struggling. The session is designed for those secondary teachers who feel like they do not have enough background to support the development of reading skills and primary teachers who have exhausted their current approaches and need some new prompts to support those students who are still struggling. You will leave this session with practical approaches that you can use the next day.
