The classroom is a dynamic environment that can range from silent to raucous. Creating a calm environment can help ensure that students are able to interact positively and stay focussed on the learning task at hand. In this session the presenter will explore how to use students’ strengths to drive learning and engagement and how to work while creating a calm and supportive learning environment. Creating a calm environment enables the teacher to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all children.
