PD Webinar - Classroom Management - responding to the disruptive student

This session will explore the fundamentals of of classroom management, examining the role that content, relationships and teaching and learning strategies play in creating a conducive, positive learning environment. This session is designed to support teachers to minimise disruptive behaviour and maximise learning time. The focus will be on how to build and maintain relationships that enable you to reinforce behavioural expectations in a calm, focused and assertive manner, preventing escalation of disruptive activity. A great session for graduates, those returning to teaching after a break, teachers experiencing classrooms with complex student behaviour and mentor teachers supporting graduates.
