PD Webinar - Classroom Management - responding to extreme behaviours

It can be very challenging to manage student behaviour in the classroom or school yard when one or more students exhibit extremely disruptive or aggressive behaviour. Being able to intervene effectively is an important skill but can be difficult to get right in different situations. Putting effective preventative strategies in place is an important consideration. In this session the presenter will detail preventative strategies as well as techniques that can be used in the heat of the moment, including the use of assertive dialogue to avoid undue aggression or anxiety. The presenter has an international reputation for working on student behaviour strategies with experienced teachers and graduates. No teacher wants to experience extreme student behaviour but every teachers needs strategies to implement if it does occur. This is a course for every teacher.
