Test and exam dates finalised

Dates for the General Achievement Test (GAT) and VCE exams have been finalised.

The GAT will now take place on Tuesday 5 October 2021.

Final VCE exams will occur between Monday 4 October and Wednesday 17 November 2021.

VCE performance and Languages oral examinations currently scheduled on Tuesday 5 October will be rescheduled, and the revised schedule will be provided to impacted students through their home school.

To help support safe conduct of the exams, a Vaccination Blitz has been announced for Year 12 students, their teachers, VCE exam supervisors and assessors.

It will begin Tuesday 7 September and continue until Friday 17 September.

Additional pathways provided during these times will help support a faster booking process and minimise absences for students and teachers during school hours.

There will be a dedicated phone number for students to use from Friday 3 September. Bookings will open Monday 6 September.

The Department of Health is hosting a free live webinar for staff, students and their families about these vaccinations Friday 3 Sept from 4 to 5pm.

There is no need to register.

The webinar will include:

  • Vaccines, development and safety

  • Accessing and consenting to a vaccination

  • How to book an appointment

  • Q+A with the panel.
