IEU Women: It's For Every Body - Reproductive Health Leave Launch (Vic)

International Women’s Day 2025:
It's For Every Body - Reproductive Health Leave Launch

Victorian Trades Hall Council, 54 Victoria St, Carlton

Workers deserve dignity, safety and respect when dealing with reproductive health issues. Workers in union are campaigning for all workers to have access to paid reproductive health leave and flexible work arrangements to deal with and treat reproductive health issues.

Many of these health issues take a serious physical and mental toll on workers and can inhibit their ability to work.

It's For Every Body is about supporting workers to feel safer and healthier at work and creating inclusive, respectful workplaces.

Join us to launch the Victorian It's for Everybody Campaign!

All workers, regardless of sex or gender will experience reproductive health issues at some point in their working lives. This entitlement would cover a range of issues, including: menstruation, peri menopause and menopause, contraception, fertility treatment IVF and reproductive health services, hormone therapy, vasectomy, chronic conditions such as poly-cystic ovarian syndrome and endometriosis, termination, preventative health care such as screenings for breast, cervical and prostate cancer.

This event is open to all unionists and activists who are interested in winning reproductive health leave in their workplaces. Come along, grab some resources, a bargaining kit and get involved in our plan to win!

The launch will be followed by some refreshments across the road at the John Curtin - all are welcome.
