On 8 March women around the world will unite to march for safety, respect and equality. Union women know that International Women’s Day is not about pink-washed girl-power corporate displays. We know that it’s about taking action to demand change. 

This year we’re going to hit the streets and make it clear that enough is enough. We’re going to show everyone that union women know how to organise, that we’re powerful and that we won’t be silenced. This year, the patriarchy has met its match.
