IEU Early Career Teacher Support Huddle - Live Q&A with VIT (moving from provisional-full registration)

Join your fellow Early Career Teachers for our upcoming IEU Support Huddle covering the VIT process of becoming a fully registered teacher. We will be joined by guest presenter Linda Blakis from the provisional registration team at the Victorian Institute of Teaching. Linda will give an in-depth presentation covering all the steps to move from provisional to full registration, including the inquiry process and what kind of support you should be receiving. We will then open up the discussion and allow you to ask any questions to Linda, IEU Organisers or your peers.

Our aim is to meaningfully support you through the exciting chapter of starting a career as an educator. Union is about building community through collective strength, shared commitment and empowerment at all stages of your working life. These huddles will be directed and shaped by the needs of teachers like you – your involvement is of paramount value to us and your peers.

As you become a leader in your workplace and our society, our priority at the IEU is to ensure you are empowered through your union to shape your working life and the community around you.

Who can join?

  • Provisionally registered teachers working in the Victorian Catholic/independent sector (both union members and non-members)

Where?
